Tower 57 · Retro Inspired Twin-stick Shooter Released on Amiga

TOWER 57 IN A NUTSHELL

In a dystopian, dieselpunk world, where Megatowers are the only enclaves of civilization, a group of extraordinary individuals is sent to infiltrate the reclusive Tower 57. Their skills, clips’ capacity & the ability to cooperate will decide on their fate.

Tower 57 is a TOP-DOWN TWIN STICK SHOOTER with 16-bit inspired pixel art, destructible environments and heavy focus on CO-OP. It is also a modern take on what made AMIGA games so great back in the days.

It’s great to see this wonderful twin-stick shooter ported over to the Amiga… albeit the later Amiga OS 4.1, MorphOS and AROS systems.  Tower 57 is a rather deep arena shooter similar to Alien Breed and Chaos Engine.  If you are a fan of either of those games than this one will be right up your alley.

The full game is available for modern Amiga platforms for only $11.99.  If you have the means it’s highly recommended.  If not, check the PC/Mac versions out.
